Howard Levy
PRINCIPAL & CREATIVE DIRECTOR
Howard specializes in synthesizing the essence of an organization and translating that into a compelling package for donors. Throughout his 25-year career, Howard has helped countless nonprofit organizations improve their fundraising and marketing, gain visibility, increase membership, and launch new brands. His nonprofit experience spans the sector, from youth to seniors, from associations to advocacy, from arts to the environment, so he has a keen understanding of diverse populations and donor groups. He provides the strategy and directs the Red Rooster Group team on creating effective fundraising materials.
Faith Tomases
WRITER
From naming and branding organizations, products, and services to marketing and communications planning and analysis, Faith has been an integral part of many prominent marketing successes for nonprofits as well as businesses. She specializes in copywriting that captures an organization’s essence, successfully ushers in change, and communicates cogent messages across print and digital materials. Her extensive professional background includes positions at New York identity firms Siegel & Gale, Landor Associates, and Lister Butler.
Molly Sugarman
WRITER & RESEARCHER
Molly brings a depth of experience in writing for nonprofit organizations, as well as interviewing skills that get to the heart of what motivates donors. As a researcher, she finds the unrealized value in an organization and translates that into compelling messages. She writes for the reader, matching language and interests to the audience. Prior to fundraising and marketing writing, she was a general assignment and investigative reporter for more than 20 years. She has won a California Newspaper Publishers Award for Investigative Journalism and was a writing coach for reporters at the McClatchey Company.
Dan Raabe
ART DIRECTOR
Dan brings more than 30 years experience in branding and design for nonprofits and corporations. His nonprofit experience includes 20 years working with Ronald McDonald House of Long Island as well as projects for Ronald McDonald House of the Greater Hudson Valley, the Huntington’s Disease Society of America, and Pace University. He has also done creative work for Forbes, IBM, Mitsubishi, Cargill, and other Fortune 500 companies. Dan has won top awards from the American Institute of Graphic Arts, Graphic Design USA, and Printing Industries of America, among others.
