Case for Support Sample Schedule

This sample Case for Support schedule lays out a rough timeline for developing a Case for Support document. Every organization is different so we will create a customized schedule based on your organization’s needs and decision-making process.

DISCOVERY & CREATIVE BRIEF

WEEK 1

  • Kickoff meeting to review expectations for the project, clarify all roles, and review work done by capital campaign consultant, if you have one.
  • Red Rooster Group will review any information you have about your stakeholders and will talk with your leadership about the goals of the capital campaign.
  • You will identify additional people, such as donors, for us to speak with.

WEEK 2

  • We write the interview questions for the on-site visit.
  • You will contact people to interview on-site.
  • We will have brief conversations with key staff.
  • You will give us access to your image gallery so we can review what is available

WEEK 3

  • We will visit the site, conduct interviews, and direct the photo shoot.

WEEK 4

  • We will write the Creative Brief.

WEEK 5

  • You will review and comment on the Creative Brief.
  • Revisions will be made to the Creative Brief, if needed.

WEEK 6

  • Your approve the Creative Brief.

DEVELOPMENT

WEEKS 7 – 8

  • Red Rooster Group will develop two concepts for your Case for Support.

WEEK 9

  • We will present these concepts to your Capital Campaign 
Marketing Committee in person.
  • The Committee will choose one concept and provide feedback on it.
  • You may also be asked to supply other images, statistics, or information as needed to support the concept.

WEEKS 10 – 11

  • We will develop the selected concept, showing the design of all pages with a rough draft of copy in place, and present it for your review.

WEEK 12

  • You will provide feedback on the design, copy, and images.

WEEK 13

  • We will make a round of revision.
  • We will supply a color mock-up.
  • We will write the printing specs and get printing quotes from printers.

WEEK 14

  • You will provide feedback on the design.
  • We will make another round of revisions to the brochure.

WEEK 15

  • You will provide final approval on the brochure.
  • Printer is selected.
  • We will prepare the files for printing.
  • We will send the files to the printer.

PRINTING

WEEK 16

  • We will review the printer’s proofs.
  • You will review the printer’s proofs and provide approval to print.

WEEK 17

  • Printing.

WEEK 18

  • Delivery of printed Case for Support.
